In the Marvel universe, a villain called The Leader or The Red Skull is a master of mind control. When he uses his abilities on others, they lose control of themselves and turn aggressive. The main protagonist in the 2002 Japanese anime “Neon Genesis Evangelion” is called The Commander.
Omni-Man is a character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in their comic book Fantastic Four #48. He is a super-villain who seems to be able to absorb the powers of others, and he has been defeated by both heroes and villains alike. But this article is not about Omni-Man, it is about nine characters who have the potential to defeat him in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.
Although he is ostensibly a hero, Invincible’s Omni-Man has become one of the most popular supervillains of the contemporary age. Sure, the comics helped, but it was Amazon’s animated version that truly made the difference. Omni-Man is a formidable figure that should not be trifled with, yet he is hardly the most powerful character ever. He isn’t even close to being in the top 10.
Darkseid, the Flash (Barry Allen), Manhattan, Dr., Saitama, Son Goku, Superman, Thanos, Thor, and Thragg are among the characters who might destroy Omni-Man.
We’ll provide you a list of nine characters that might beat Omni-Man in today’s post. We could have gone all over pop culture to make it more interesting and realistic, but we’re only going to include comic book characters – though not just from Image Comics – and characters who aren’t actual deities, like the One Above All or the Presence, or the likes of Galactus and the Celestials, who could defeat him due to their sizes.
So, here’s a list of individuals who may be able to beat Omni-Man, but they’re far from the only ones (the list is ordered alphabetically, so not in any order of preference).
Darkseid
Debut: Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen #134 (November 1970) / Forever People #1 (November 1970) Universe: DC Comics (February 1971) Jack Kirby was the one who came up with the idea.
Darkseid is a fictional supervillain from the DC Comics world. He was developed by Jack Kirby in the early 1970s as part of the Fourth World comic book series. Darkseid is a super-strong extraterrestrial ruler that seeks to rule the whole cosmos. He’s had numerous run-ins with the Justice League, mainly when attempting to conquer the Earth. His Omega Beams are his most powerful weapon.
Omni-Man is physically weaker than Darkseid, and Darkseid would easily beat him. He defeated Superman with ease, despite the fact that Superman is much more strong than Omni-Man. Furthermore, we do not believe Omni-Man is capable of deflecting his Omega Beams, which is why Darkseid is on our list.
The Flash is an action-adventure television (Barry Allen)
Debut: Showcase #4, DC Comics Universe (October 1956) Robert Kanigher and Carmine Infantino designed it.
The Flash, also known as Bartholomew Henry “Barry” Allen, is a fictional superhero who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by writer Robert Kanigher and artist Carmine Infantino and originally appeared in Showcase #4 (October 1956). Barry Allen is a reimagining of a former superhero known as The Flash. His primary strength as a speedster is his ability to move at extraordinary speeds. Other consequences of this capability include the capacity to regulate molecular vibrations, allowing it to vibrate at high speeds and pass through solid things. He can even travel across time and alter the Multiverse’s fundamental fabric.
While Omni-Man may be more physically intimidating and faster than Barry Allen, there is no way he could equal the Flash’s speed, which is why Barry Allen was included on this list.
Dr. Manhattan
Watchmen #1 is the first issue in the DC Comics universe (September 1986) Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons created the series.
Doctor Manhattan (Dr. Jonathan Osterman) is a fictional figure that appears as one of the protagonists in DC Comics’ Watchmen series. Because he has limitless abilities, he is considered the most powerful superhero in comic books. His corpse is totally destroyed after being inadvertently trapped inside a test chamber during a nuclear physics experiment.
Instead of dying, he acquires abilities that enable him to control matter’s energy, which he uses to reconstruct his body for the first time. Superhuman strength, teleportation, subatomic matter manipulation, and complete omniscience are among the other abilities.
Doctor Manhattan, with his immense power, could easily erase Omni-Man from existence with a single glance. There’s no way Omni-Man could even come close to Doctor Manhattan’s abilities.
Saitama
Debut: One-Punch Man: Chapter 1 Universe: One-Punch Man (2009) ONE was the one who came up with the idea.
Saitama is a young guy who has lost his appetite for life and who often engages in combat with strange creatures in order to save his neighbor. After confronting a strange monster that intended to murder a kid in retaliation for a terrible joke, he chooses to become a hero. He spent the next three years training to become a powerful hero.
Every day, he does ten kilometers of jogging, one hundred push-ups, one hundred sit-ups, and one hundred squats. Saitama observes two changes after his “intense” training: he has become very powerful, to the point that he can beat his opponents in one fell swoop, and he has lost all of his hair. The legendary “One Punch” is its primary strike. His strength is unrivaled by any of the most powerful heroes and villains met so far.
This man doesn’t seem to be capable of much, but trust us when we say that all it takes is one punch to knock Omni-Man out.
Son Goku
Dragon Ball debuted in the universe with Dragon Ball #1. (1984) Akira Toriyama designed it.
Son Goku is the primary character and protagonist of the Dragon Ball series. Sun Wukong, the main character of the ancient Chinese book Journey to the West, inspired him. In 1984, Goku made his debut as a quirky, monkey-tailed kid who studies martial arts and has superhuman power in Dragon Ball chapter #1, titled Bulma and Son Goku. He meets Bulma and accompanies her on a quest to locate the Dragon Balls, which grant wishes and may be used to summon the mythical dragon Shenlong.
Okay, the child Goku in the image definitely wouldn’t be able to beat Omni-Man, but the present version of the character, who has battled and defeated multiversal deities, would easily defeat Omni-Man, despite the latter’s powers and skills.
Superman
Action Comics #1 was the first issue in the DC Comics universe (June 1938) Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster wrote the script.
Superman is a fictional superhero that appears in DC Comics tales. Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster developed him, and he made his debut in 1938. He was an extraterrestrial from the planet Krypton who was brought to Earth by his parents to rescue him from the destruction of their own planet. He landed in Kansas, where he was discovered by Jonathan and Martha Kent, who adopted him and reared him as Clark Kent. Kal-El is his actual name.
When he discovered his abilities, he was taught how to use them for good, and he quickly became Superman, while still working as a journalist as Clark Kent. He has superhuman strength, durability, and speed, as well as heat vision, ice breath, near invulnerability, and immortality. He is a superhero character’s prototype.
In a battle, we’ve previously proven that Superman would beat Omni-Man. They are quite similar, but Superman’s abilities are simply superior than Omni- Man’s, which is why this result is so obvious and why Superman belongs on this list.
Thanos
Marvel Comics Universe Debut: The Invincible Iron Man #55 (February 1973) Jim Starlin was the one who came up with the idea.
Thanos is a supervillain that appears in the Marvel world of the Marvel Comics publishing company. Jim Starlin, a writer and designer, came up with the concept. Thanos is a Titan, a descendant of the Eternals, a species who fled Earth ages ago for Saturn’s moon Titan. He is a super-strong figure who, like Darkseid (of whom he is a clone), wishes to rule the world, but he does so only to show his value to Lady Death, his true love, who has repeatedly rejected him.
Even without his iconic weapon, the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos remains one of Marvel’s most powerful characters. Kronos is the only Eternal greater than him, and in his basic form, he is more powerful than most superheroes. He is virtually invincible with the Infinity Gauntlet.
Thanos is clearly capable of defeating Omni-Man, and we believe he could do it without the Infinity Gauntlet.
Thor
Universe: Journey into Mystery #83 (Marvel Comics Debut) (August 1962) Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, and Jack Kirby created the characters.
Thor Odinson, alias Thor, is a god and a superhero that appears in the Marvel world of the Marvel Comics publishing company. The fictitious character was originally introduced in August 1962 in the Journey into Mystery (vol. 1) #83 comic book by writers Stan Lee and Larry Lieber and artist Jack Kirby. Thor’s doppelganger from Norse mythology inspired the character. The Asgardian is a founding member of the Avengers as well as a recurrent comrade. He has appeared in three regular and limited series as the title character.
For decades, Thor’s capacity to adapt and find new sources of strength has been a defining feature of the character. Even yet, we believe he could defeat Omni-Man in his basic form since he is a really incredible figure with abilities that Omni-Man could never conceive.
Thragg
Invincible Universe Invincible #11 is the first issue in the Invincible series (April 2004) Robert Kirkman and Ryan Ottley designed it.
On Viltrum, Thragg was born. He was groomed to be the strongest Viltrumite and was trained in all forms of warfare. Robert Kirkman and Ryan Ottley are recognized as his writers, and he first appeared in Invincible #11 (April 2004). He is a figure that, in many ways, resembles Omni-Man, although he seems to be a more powerful version of him.
We had to include Thragg on the list since he really penetrated Omni-Man with his hand and disemboweled him, making him the winner in their battle. Sure, he saved his life in the end, but he has shown that he is capable of defeating him.
Omni-Man, the hero of the original Mega Man comic series, is a cyborg who possesses all the weapons and abilities of the other Robot Masters. What sets Omni-Man apart from the other Robot Masters and other protagonists is that he is a super-powered robot: he weighs 100 tons and is equipped with a “Mega Buster” that can disintegrate anything in its path..
