As expected, actress Megan Fox has spoken out about the way she’s been sexually objectified in the media. The actress classifies herself as a feminist and believes that if she’d wanted to, she could have rejected the male gaze by wearing more revealing clothes.
Megan Fox is not keeping quiet any longer about her critics and the many fingers they’ve pointed at her. In her recent interview with InStyle, she made it clear to haters that their opinions and judgements are wrong and that she’s living her best life, despite their stupid jokes and stereotypes.

The “Jennifer’s Body” Star met the musician, whose real name is Colson Baker, on the set of “Midnight In The Switchgrass” after she had filed for divorce from husband Brian Austin Green. The pair made their relationship public in June 2023 and have been pictured together since, with Megan appearing in his music video for his hit single “Bloody Valentine.”
In her latest interview, the actress, 35, explained that people love dissecting her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, only to point out everything that’s wrong with it. She said that if she steps out alone with MGK, people would ask her where her three children are. Megan is mom to three boys: Noah Shannon, 8, Bodhi Ransom, 7, and Journey River, 4, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
She added that it’s more painful because men don’t get asked these kinds of questions, “No, because you don’t expect a dad to be with the kids all the time, but I’m supposed to not be seen and be at home with my kids.”
“They have another parent. I have to leave and sometimes I don’t want them photographed and they don’t come with me,” she continued. The star couldn’t help marveling at the people who still think like that, calling their mindsets “archaic”.
“The Transformers” star also discussed the negativity she faces just for dating someone that’s younger than her. “You want to talk about patriarchy? The fact that he’s four years younger than me, and people want to act like I’m dating a younger man. He’s 31, and I’m 35.”
She then compared the situation to that of a man’s, saying, “Granted, he’s lived like he’s 19 his whole life, but he isn’t 19. No one would blink twice if George Clooney was dating someone four years younger.”
“Four years?” she stressed, “We would have been in high school together. That’s so ridiculous that women are treated that way.”
But since meeting MGK, the actress said that she tries her best to ignore the negativity directed at her from so many people.
Machine Gun Kelly compared Megan Fox to “the Earth” when he spoke about their relationship. “When it’s summer, it’s the hottest summer. When it’s winter, it’s the most amazing chill. In the fall and spring, it’s a beautiful transition.”
“She is unlike any person I have ever met in my life. I just want people to understand this is real,” he added. “I don’t think people get the opportunity to believe in real, great love, and that’s what we have together.”

In the interview, Megan talked about the media’s portrayal of her and the criticisms it spurred. “I was brought out and stoned and murdered at one point,” she said. “And then suddenly everybody’s like, ‘Wait a second. We shouldn’t have done that. Let’s bring her back.’”
She previously shared how the “bandwagon of absolute toxicity being spewed at me for years,” affected her mental health.

“We have to be careful with our words — they’re powerful. That’s something I wish most people would understand. We live in a culture where it’s a game to be the most hateful to get the most attention,” she continued.
“It’s not funny. You’re speaking words over real people, who are permeable, who have hearts. Your negativity can influence them. Especially the sensitive ones,” Fox explained to the outlet. “I’ll call myself one of them. We’re the ones who are influenced by your negativity because we’re so open. I’m not closed off. Those things affect me really deeply.”
