The eight-episode adventure will take fans on a trip through eight main areas in reverse order that are already familiar from video games, highlighting the names of Pokémon found in each zone.
The backward trip would suggest that the most current areas found in the video game series would appear first, followed by the regions discovered during the game’s early days. The first episode will take fans on a journey to the Galar region, which has recently been explored in video games such as Pokémon Shield and Pokémon Sword, and will eventually end in the Kanto region, which was previously uncovered by players in games such as Pokémon Green and Pokémon Red from the franchise back in 1996.
Each episode will talk about the tales of the Pokémon world from a different perspective as the adventure progresses. In reverse order, Galar, Alola, Kalos, Unova, Sinnoh, Hoenn, Johto, and Kanto would be visited.
