The original “Money Heist” is still one of the most entertaining and exciting tv series of all time. Money Heist Part 5
Money heist has been one of the best heist TV shows to date, with four parts as of now. The series has been renewed for a fifth, and the last season is divided into two volumes. Both volumes will have five episodes each and will release on September 3, 2023, and December 3, 2023, respectively.
Álex Pina creates the crime drama. Money Heist is the English title version of the original Spanish La casa de Papel, meaning the house of paper. The series initially aired on the Spanish network Antena 3 when it was released in May 2017. Netflix later picked up the show for a worldwide release.
The first part was released on Netflix on December 20, 2017, with nine episodes. The second part had six episodes and came out on April 6, 2018. Part 3 came out on July 19, 2019, and Part 4 on April 3, 2023, with eight episodes. Finally, part 5 will have ten episodes with two volumes, each with the heist coming to an end.

The heist series follows a group of thieves assembled by a mastermind who everyone calls The Professor. It starts with The Professor picking up Tokyo when she was escaping a failed robbery. He asks her to be a part of a heist of a considerable amount.

He gathers a group of thieves to plan and execute a multi-day heist in the Royal Mint of Spain. The professor gives the robbers aliases and asks them not to use or share any personal information. They are all called Tokyo, Rio, Berlin, Denver, Moscow, Helsinki, and Oslo. All of them dress up in red jumpsuits and Salvador Dali masks. The professor guides them from outside the Mint.

The group invades the Royal Mint and takes a total of 67 hostages. They plan to print an amount of €2.4 billion and escape from the Mint. Due to the hostage situation, a police tent is set right outside the Mint. A Police Investigator Raquel Murillo is in charge of the case. The Professor guises himself as Salva and grows close to Raquel. Inside the Mint Denver, one group member falls in love with a pregnant hostage, Monica Gaztambide.
Through the course of the heist, one of the hostages and the director of the Royal Mint, Arturo Roman, try to jeopardize all the plans. He helps some of the hostages escape resulting in Oslo’s death. In one of the face-offs with the Police outside of the Mint, Moscow, who is also Denver’s father, loses his life. The group continues to print the money and plan their escape by digging a tunnel inside one of the vaults.
After 128 hours of fighting, robbing, kidnapping, and grieving, the group escapes the Mint through the tunnel. During the escape, The Professor’s brother, also known as Berlin, sacrifices himself to help others. They all flee from the hiding place after passing through the tunnel by deceiving the Police and disguising themselves. The episodes also show flashbacks from the planning and preparing days. Raquel, who discovers that Salva is the Professor, lets them go due to her feelings for her. She later finds a clue about The Professor’s location and reunites with him, along with her daughter and mother.

Sneak Peek Into Part 3 of Money Heist
Part 3 begins with all the group members enjoying their lives in different countries. It all starts when Rio uses a satellite phone which results in him being captured by Europol. To free him, The Professor plans another heist which was initially a plan of Berlin and his friend Palermo. They plan to rob the Bank of Spain to get Rio back from all the torture.
The heist of the bank is led by Palermo, and there are two more additions to the gang, Bogota, and Marseille. Like the previous heist, Professor is outside, and the group is inside only difference is, he is now with Raquel, also known as Lisbon. The gang also has Monica Gaztambide as Stockholm. Another Police camp is set up outside the bank with Alicia Sierra as the inspector in charge.

The group plans to melt the gold stored inside the bank and free Rio. Nairobi leads the melting process but gets killed by a sharpshooter when Alicia lures her out with her son. One of the most devastating deaths of Money Heist. The group goes through several quarrels and bonding moments. They also have Arturo Roman, who sneaked in the bank to make it more difficult for the gang, and Gandia, chief of bank security. He causes havoc when he contacts the outside and tries to escape, but it backfires when at the end of Part 4, the group turns his plan into theirs. They sneak into Lisbon by tricking the authorities. On the other side, The Professor is captured by Alicia.

The fans are eager to know what happens next. In one of the teaser videos, we can see that The professor is tied to a chair, and there are shootings inside the bank. The gang now has to escape. Several fan theories are floating around for the upcoming episodes, one of them being that Alicia Sierra will join the group just like Raquel did. We have to wait and watch.

The Cast of the series is going to be the same as the previous parts. However, there may be some additions to the Cast in the upcoming episodes. There are two new cast members, Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Patrick Criado. We have Miguel Ángel Silvestre in Sense8, and Patrick Criado has been seen in several Spanish series and films.

The synopsis of the fifth part suggests that it has been over 100 hours now that the gang has been shut inside the bank of Spain. though they have rescued Raquel AKA Lisbon, they are now in the grief of losing a member of their own. The police inspector Alicia Sierra has held captive of the Professor. For the first in the journey of the heists, the Professor has no escape strategy planned, either for him or the gang. At the moment the gang thinks that there isn’t anything that might go in the wrong direction. But they have no idea that an enemy is at their gates, the most powerful one so far, The Army. As Tokyo said in the previous parts, the robbery has now turned into a war and we are waiting to see who wins it.

The creators have hinted that part five will be last for the Money heist series. Netflix released a trailer on YouTube and Social media on May 24, 2023, for Season 5. It revealed the dates for the two volumes. Part 5: Volume 1 – September 3, Volume 2 – December 3. The trailer has gotten all the fans up on their feet waiting for it to release soon.
