Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a Bollywood romantic drama film directed by Nishikant Kamat. It stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and Aditya Roy Kapoor in the lead roles. It was released by Fox Star Studios on 18 April 2016. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani revolves around the story of Raj (Ranveer Singh) and Simran (Deepika Padukone). Two strangers fall in love with each other and time stands still for them.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is probably one of the best romances that’s been made in the history of Bollywood. And even though they will continue making more films in the same genre, they surely won’t be as good as this one.

The new Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is coming, and you don’t want to miss it. The movie, which is a sequel to Raees, stars Ranbir Kapoor, and is about the journey of two independent individuals who are torn apart by the events of their youth and how their lives unfold from that point on. It is an intense and full of suspense, with some of the best performances of its genre.

In Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, there is a lovely conversation. “Aath saal beet gaye hain, usne mudke nahi dekha aur maine intezaar bhi nahi kiya,” she adds after recounting the flashback tale of Naina (Deepika Padukone) falling in love with Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor). It’s been eight years since we last saw one other. He didn’t return her stare, and she didn’t wait for him either. This phrase has remained with me all these years. It contains a hint of melancholy, but it also has a dash of selfishness in order to go on with life. This sequence contrasts well with one of the film’s deleted scenes, in which the tour guide informs them about the Bhutha Parbat tale. When a young prince went to the temple at the top of the Bhutha Parbat, he met and fell in love with a lovely girl. Later, when the prince was forced to choose between battle and love, he chose the latter. He wished he could take the girl with him, but he was unable to do so. Thirty years later, the prince, now a well-known king, returned to the same shrine. He saw that the female had remained in the same spot, waiting for him. Despite the fact that he had grown older, the girl remained youthful and in love with him.

The tour advisor adds, “Us ladki pe waqt beetne ka koi nishaan hi nahi tha.” The child gave no indication that time had passed. Waqt, or time, is a recurrent topic in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and it becomes the driving concept for Bunny and Naina in making important life choices. There are allusions to waqt throughout the film. Bunny looks up at the twilight sky while on a boat ride on the Seine in Paris. Ria (Poorna Jagannathan), his buddy, inquires as to what he is gazing at. “Waqt ko guzarte,” says a philosophical Bunny. He is aware of how quickly time is passing him by. This is one of the first times waqt is mentioned explicitly, which provides a sense of its importance in the later sections.

Aditi (Kalki Koechlin) sends Bunny an invitation to her wedding. He chooses to attend his friend’s wedding in India and shocks everyone by dancing at the cocktail reception. Naina is sitting with her feet in the water after the party. Bunny sits at her side, but is surprised by the water’s cold temperature. “Kuch der mein theek ho jayega,” Naina says as he refuses to put his feet in the water. It will improve with time. Bunny steps into the water with his feet. They then begin conversing with one another. He asks whether she was always as beautiful or if she developed her beauty over time. He sings flirtatiously the phrase from Guru Dutt’s Kaagaz Ke Phool, “Waqt ne kiya, kya haseen sitam” (1959). She asks him how he is feeling in the water after a few minutes of talking. He described it as pleasant and relaxing. “Maine kaha than na,” she says. “Sab theek ho jayega, kuch waqt do.” Give it some time, and things will improve.

Bunny believes that Aditi and her fiancé Taran (Kunal Roy Kapur) quarrel because Taran is envious of Avi later in the film (Aditya Roy Kapur). Bunny inquires about Aditi’s motivations for marrying Taran. Taran was not envious of Avi, Aditi corrects him; rather, he prevented her from criticizing Avi. Avi had already spent thousands of rupees in only two days, so she wanted to speak with him. Bunny continues to question her, asking whether she is no longer in love with Avi. She said that throughout the relationship, she was always alone; Avi was never present. She was alright before meeting Taran, but after meeting him, she understood that she, too, could be happy. “Kuch logon ke saath sirf waqt beetane se sab kuch sahi ho jata hai,” she continues. Spending time with some individuals seems to make things better. Naina echoed the same underlying idea when she assured Bunny that things would get better with time.

Bunny now goes to speak to Naina again following his discussion with Aditi. She’s relaxing by the pool with her friend Vikram (Rana Dagubatti). Bunny thinks Vikram is flirting with Naina, so he asks him to leave. While Naina attempts to calm them down, they get into an altercation. Bunny later wonders whether Vikram is the same person who texted her. Bunny assumed that Naina only drank when he was around. Naina wonders why he is so preoccupied with her life. “Main chahta hun tum apna saara waqt mere saath bitayo,” Bunny says. He wants Naina to devote her whole attention to him. “Main tumhare saath aur waqt nahi bita nahi sakti,” Naina responds. She is unable to spend any more time with him. She will fall in love with him again if she spends even two more minutes with him, and he will not fall in love with her again.

Bunny is seated with some pals a few minutes later, singing a few lines of the song Kabhi Kabhie Mere Dil Mein from Yash Chopra’s Kabhi Kabhie (1976). Naina appears, hugs him, and attempts to work out a plan for their future together with Bunny. They both realize, however, that they desire different things out of life. As a result, she advises them to forget about one other and go on with their lives. Bunny, on the other hand, does not want to let her go from his arms since it feels good to him. “Paanch, paanch, paanch, paanch, paanch He begs Naina to give him a second. He continues requesting more time from her—a few more minutes, a few more seconds—because there is where life appears to be sorted out at those times. Bunny seems to be able to relate to Aditi’s remarks once again. Waqt beetane se sab kuch sahi ho jata hai, kuch logon ke saath sirf. Bunny has found that individual in Naina. Bunny sits alone with his feet in the water later in the song Kabira, evoking the moment with Naina earlier in the song. Sab theek ho jayega, kuch waqt do.

After the wedding celebrations are over, a sad Bunny departs. He is at the airport, but he will not board the plane. He returns to his residence. He recalls his father’s face. His stepmother approaches him and gives him a hug. He speaks with her and expresses his dissatisfaction with running. “Main waqt ki izzat nahi ki aur Papa chale gaye,” he continues. His father died, and he had no regard for time. He brings up the subject of time once again. He goes on to say that he wishes he had the opportunity to tell his father how much he loved him.

Bunny undergoes a transformation. He spends New Year’s Eve with Naina at her house. He makes a marriage proposal to her. She inquires about his ambitions to tour the globe. “Har cheez ki ek waqt hota hai,” he adds. Everything has its own time, and this is the appointed moment for him to marry. Naina is still suspicious of his motives. She inquires as to whether he would be willing to live with her. Bunny, as anticipated, brings up the subject of time. “Waqt kisi ke liye nahi rukta, waqt kisi ke liye nahi rukta, waqt kisi ke Waqt beetata hai, kharch hum hote hain. “Aur problem pehle ki main pura kharch ho jaun, tere saath kuch waqt kuch beetana chahta hai,” says the author. No one is exempt from the passage of time. We are left behind as it rushes past us. Bunny wants to spend some time with Naina before he falls too far behind. The sorrow of not being able to say farewell to his father influences his choice. He has the same dread of losing Naina in life. He wants to spend more time with her since she seems to be in good spirits. With her, he envisions a bright future. He had already married her in his thoughts. They can go on a trip together if he wants to.

As a result, we witnessed how time takes on a life of its own and is present throughout Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. If Naina and Bunny decide to marry, I’m sure they’ll face a lot of obstacles at first. There will be scheduling problems, but I think it will all work out in the end. “Kuch waqt do, sab theek ho jayega,” as Naina put it. Give it some time, and things will improve.
