Have you heard about Momoa and Wan’s tale before deciding to see the movie? At the time of the first part, Momoa expressed interest in the Aquaman sequel, but Wan was adamantly opposed to it. However, in January, we see Wan say yes to the project, and the film begins production in the same month.

Pre-production-

Dolph Lundgren said in February 2023 that he will reprise his role as King Nereus in the spin-off, with filming set to begin in London shortly after. The planned start date for the shooting was revealed to be in June a month after the fact, but the COVID-19 pandemic had the potential to disrupt this.

• Arthur Curry/Aquaman, played by Jason Momoa, is a half-Atlantean/half-human ruler of Atlantis who can swim at supersonic speeds and communicate with aquatic creatures.
• Golden Heard as Mera: Xebel’s princess and King Nereus’s young daughter who has hydrokinesis and can telepathically communicate with other Atlanteans.
